What These Plans Don’t Cover
The build. Your system gets built through Tech Confident Foundations or a project scope, and it’s yours when it ships. These plans pick up from there.
Domain registration. Your domain is yours, registered and renewed in your name through your registrar. Managing the DNS is included in your plan; the registrar account stays yours.
Third-party subscriptions you choose to add. If you want a paid tool outside the included stack, that’s between you and the tool.
Is there a setup fee?
The build is its own engagement, separate from the care plans. Book a Tech Clarity Call and we’ll scope it together. Foundations is the primary path for new builds; project engagements are available for specific needs.
How does moving off Kajabi (or whatever I’m on now) work?
Honest answer: we don’t reach into Kajabi (or any all-in-one) and pull your content out for you; those platforms control the export, so that piece stays in your hands. What we do is make the move painless around it. During the Foundations build we set you up and walk you through getting your content out and recreating your courses in the new design, using the export and import options available. WordPress-to-WordPress content (blog posts and any post type) we can migrate straight into your new design; it’s included on the Prime plan and a scoped add-on on the others. And we handle the technical switch: your DNS and domain pointers get cleaned up so everything routes correctly, and nothing goes live until the new site is ready, so there’s no gap in between. You won’t do it alone, and you won’t lose your audience.
Are these contracts?
Month-to-month. No annual lock-in. Cancel in one email. We keep you because the service is worth it, not because a contract says you can’t leave.
What if I want to run it myself?
You can. We teach you how during the build. Your system costs about $110 a month in your own hosting and licenses. If you ever want to hand the backend to us instead, just re-subscribe. The system is yours either way.
How does this compare to paying a developer hourly?
An hourly developer charges $75 to $200 an hour, doesn’t know your system, ramps up every time you need help, and disappears when the invoice is paid. A plan means one person who knows every corner of your setup: available, proactive, and invested in your growth. Most clients get far more value per dollar on a plan than they ever did from one-off hourly work.
What happens if we stop working together?
You keep everything you own: your site, CRM, automations, content, data, and documentation, fully portable to any host or developer. The one exception is the premium plugin licenses. Those are part of your care plan, not the asset, so if you leave you’d set up your own licenses for any plugins you want to keep running. The system is yours; only the plan’s licenses stay behind. I’m building YOUR system that I happen to maintain.
Won’t I have to learn a whole new system?
You’d have to learn Kajabi or GoHighLevel too. Or hire help for those platforms, the same way you would here. The learning curve is a wash. So learn the one you own.
